The Resort at Longboat Key Club
If there was ever a wedding made for Longboat Key, it was Samantha and Justin’s. Think sandy neutrals, crisp whites, touches of green, rattan everywhere, and a ceremony quite literally steps from the water.
They kept the ceremony simple and let the beach do most of the work. White flowers lined the aisle, woven lanterns were mixed throughout, and an ivory fabric welcome sign with green ribbon greeted guests on their way in. Even the smallest pieces tied into the setting, from seashell details in their stationery to the natural textures used throughout the day.
Then came the reception, where things got a little more fun. Rattan pendants filled with greenery hung overhead, tables were layered with woven chargers and neutral details, and candles took over once the sun went down. Samantha and Justin also found plenty of ways to make the day feel like them — including custom tennis balls that might be one of our favorite wedding favors yet.
And obviously, you can't get married at Longboat Key Club without taking advantage of that Florida sunset. The newlyweds headed out to the golf course for golden-hour photos (with their very own Wells flag!) before coming back to a packed dance floor.
Beachside vows, tennis balls, their pup, a Florida sunset, and a whole lot of celebrating — Sun, Sand & the Wells pretty much says it all. 🐚
